Autorităţile nu sunt pregătite să facă faţă eventualei apariţii a virusului Ebola în Moldova. O recunosc reprezentanţii Centrului de Sănătate Publică. Ei spun că nu dispun de echipamente eficiente de protecţie şi nici de spaţii unde ar putea fi internaţi bolnavii.
Subiectul a fost discutat în cadrul unei şedinţe de urgenţă. Şeful Centrului de Sănătate Publică susţine că nicio instituţie medicală nu poate face faţă unui eventual caz de îmbolnăvire.
"Nu putem asigura toate instituţiile cu echipament individual de protecţie", a spus directorul Centrului Naţional de Sănătate Publică, Mihail Pîsla.
Specialiştii au menţionat că echipamentul pe care îl au instituţiile medicale din ţară nu sunt eficiente.
"Cazul din Spania a arătat că asistenta medicală care a purtat costum obişnuit de protecţie s-a molipsit", a mai spus directorul Centrului Naţional de Sănătate Publică, Mihail Pîsla.
Ministrul Sănătăţii a propus ca, în caz de contaminare, bolnavii să fie aduşi la Spitalul de Boli infecţioase "Toma Ciorbă" din Capitală.
"La spitalul clinic de boli infecţioase avem şapte-opt blocuri separate şi mai mici şi mai mari", a menţionat ministrul Sănătăţii, Andrei Usatîi.
Specialiştii spun, încă, că propunerea este o metodă sigură de a scăpa boala de sub control.
"Închipuiţi-vă că la Edineţ s-a depistat, trebuie de evacuat bolnavul la Spitalul "Toma Ciorbă". Cum o să-l transportăm, noi n-avem ambulanţe specializate", a opinat directorul Centrului Naţional de Sănătate Publică, Mihail Pîsla.
După şedinţă, ministrul Sănătăţii a fost însă optimist şi a dat asigurări că autorităţile sunt pregătite să facă faţă unei eventuale epidemii.
"Celelalte măsuri de protecţie noi le avem în instituţiile medicale din ţară", a conchis Andrei Usatîi.
