Un rus a fost arestat în Cehia, fiind suspectat că ar avea legături cu atacurile cibernetice din SUA
Poliţia din Cehia a arestat un cetăţean rus, suspectat a avea legături cu atacurile cibernetice la scară largă care au avut loc în Statele Unite, scrie Mediafax.ro.
Poliţia cehă nu a oferit alte detalii şi nu este încă clar pentru care dintre atacurile cibernetice din SUA este suspectat cetăţeanul rus.
Potrivit postărilor de pe site-ul Poliţiei din Cehia, arestarea a avut loc în cooperare cu Biroul Federal de Investigaţii (FBI). Interpolul emisese o informare de tip "notificare roşie" privind căutarea la nivel internaţional a cetăţeanului rus.
Cetăţeanul rus a fost reţinut într-un hotel din Praga. Poliţia a comunicat că acesta a leşinat şi a trebuit să fie spitalizat. Judecătoria cehă va decide dacă acesta va fi sau nu extrădat.
Administraţia Statelor Unite a formulat acuzaţii oficiale la adresa Rusiei privind o serie de atacuri cibernetice care au vizat servere ale Partidului Democrat în timpul campaniei electorale pentru alegerile prezidenţiale şi legislative.
Preşedinţia Rusiei a calificat drept "absurde" acuzaţiile Statelor Unite.
