De ce avem coşmaruri? Cercetătorii au găsit o explicaţie
Oamenii de știință susțin că au descoperit cele două gene responsabile de controlul somnului și că, prin controlarea acestora, pacienții cu tulburări de somn ar putea fi vindecați, scrie Realitatea.net.
Experții spun că este pentru prima dată când indentifică genele care reglementează coșmarurile și care ar putea chiar să ne ajute să le evităm. Cercetătorii susțin că dezvoltarea celor două gene va duce la descoperirea unei rețele de cromozomi de control al somnului.
Tiparele normale de somn includ perioade scurte de somn profund, alături de perioade mai lungi de somn non-REM, ceea ce reprezintă aproximativ un sfert din noaptea de odihnă în cazul majorității tinerilor adulți.
Cu toate acestea, tulburările de somn denaturează aceste tipare. Lipsa de somn profund poate duce la stres și la mai multe experiențe neplăcute.
