Cel mai dur maraton din toate vremurile s-a desfăşurat concomitent pe toate continentele
Una dintre cele mai dure întrecere din lume s-a desfăşurat pe toate continentele timp de şapte zile. 32 amatori de senzaţii tari au reușit să încheie această aventură incredibilă.
Competiţia a început pe un ghețar din Antarctica , la temperaturi care au variat între -5 și -10 grade Celsius.
După această cursă, participanţii au ajuns în Chile, după care la Miami.
În Europa, maratoniştii au alergat la Madrid.
După evoluţia în capitala Spaniei, sportivii au participat la curse în Maroc şi Dubai. Ultima destinaţie a fost Australia. Concurenţii au trecut linia de sosire la Sydney.
Câştigătorul maratonului la masculin a devenit americanul Mike Wardian. El s-a impus în toate cele şapte curse.
În competiţia feminină a triumfat Silvana Camelio din Chile.
În total, participanţii au alergat aproape 300 de kilometri pe toate continentele și au călătorit în jurul lumii aproape 40 mii de kilometri.
Timp de şapte zile ei au dormit şi au mâncat în avion, în timp ce se deplasau de pe un continent pe altul.
