PLDM nu vrea să-l demită pe Procurorul General, Valeriu Zubco. Cel puţin aşa declară democratul Dumitru Diacov, care dezminte astfel informaţiile apărute în presă. Diacov spune că acest subiect nu a fost discutat în Alianţa de guvernare. Potrivit presei de la Chişinău, fracţiunea PLDM ar fi încercat, acum două săptămâni, să pună la vot demisia procurorului.
Moment în care, preşedintele Parlamentului, Marian Lupu, ar fi anunţat o pauză în plen. Democraţii ar fi acceptat iniţiativele PLDM privind lichidarea instanţelor economice şi demonopolizarea intreprinderii "Metalferos", pe care le-au respins de mai multe ori, anume pentru a evita acest subiect.
Premierul Vlad Filat a declarat, la emisiunea Fabrika, că procurorul general nu este echidistant în deciziile sale şi că este dependent de o anumită persoană.
Valeriu Zubco, a fost înaintat în funcţie de Partidul Democrat. Zubco nu a făcut deocamdată nicio declaraţie.
