Noi detalii cu privire la memorandumul Kozak
Absenţa unor articole în prima variantă a memorandumului Kozak a fost unul din motivele respingerii documentului. Într-un interviu pentru Kommersant acordat de fostul şef al misiunii OSCE în Moldova, William Hill, au devenit cunoscute noi detalii cu privire la memorandum.
Potrivit diplomatului, în prima versiune a memorandumului Kozak nu au fost incluse trei articole cu privire la prezenţa militară a Federaţiei Ruse în Republica Moldova.
"Este clar că, pe 24 noiembrie 2003, după ce s-a aflat despre cele trei articole cu privire la prezenţa militară a Rusie în Transnistria, domnul Voronin a fost sunat şi i s-a sugerat să nu semneze memorandumul. SUA, reprezentanţii UE şi OSCE au considerat că prezenţa militară ce nu a fost coordonată cu celelalte părţi ale Tratatului privind Forţele Armate Convenţionale din Europa este inacceptabilă", a spus William Hill.
Memorandumul Kozak trebuia să fie semnat în noiembrie 2003. Documentul prevedea "reglementarea definitivă a problemei transnistrene".
