Cea mai mare grevă din istoria companiei Lufthansa a început! Câte zboruri au fost anulate
Lufthansa va anula vineri 290 de zboruri, în special pe distanțe scurte, după ce sindicatul personalului navigant (UFO) de la operatorul aerian german a declanșat o mișcare de protest în perioada 6 - 13 noiembrie, în urma eșecului negocierilor cu conducerea companiei, transmite BBC, citat de Agerpres.
Anterior, sindicatul UFO, care reprezintă aproximativ 19.000 de salariați de la Lufthansa, a dat un termen limită managementului companiei, până la 1 noiembrie, pentru ca acesta să îmbunătățească oferta cu privire la salarii, pensii și condiții de muncă.
Lufthansa a oferit personalului navigant posibilitatea de a continua să se pensioneze la vârsta de 55 de ani, dar cu condiția modificării sistemului de pensii, astfel încât majorările anuale să nu fie garantate, ci în funcție de evoluțiile pieței. Aceasta înseamnă că, în situația scăderii piețelor, contribuțiile la fondurile de pensii ale personalului navigant se reduc.
Lufthansa, cea mai mare companie aeriană europeană, a fost puternic afectată și de cele 13 greve declanșate în ultimele 18 luni de sindicatul german al piloților, Cockpit, tot din cauza disputelor privind salariile, beneficiile și reducerile de costuri.
Grevele repetate au costat Lufthansa peste 300 milioane de euro.
Conducerea companiei vrea să înființeze o nouă divizie low-cost, numită Eurowings, cu sediul în Austria, care va plăti salarii mai mici decât în Germania și, de asemenea, va prelua o parte din rute în cadrul reorganizării operațiunilor grupului.
Lufthansa se confruntă cu dificultăți, în urma concurenței venite de la companiile low-cost, precum easyJet și Ryanair, și a companiei Etihad, din orientul Mijlociu, care a preluat o participație în grupul german Air Berlin.
