NO COMMENT! Cel mai mare exercițiu NATO din Est (VIDEO)
În Polonia a început cel mai mare exerciţiu NATO organizat vreodată într-o ţară de pe flancul de est. Astăzi, două mii de soldaţi americani, britanici şi polonezi au participat la un exerciţiu tactic pentru paraşutişti, scrie digi24.ro.
Paraşutiştii au aterizat lângă Torun, un oraş din nord-vestul Poloniei. Misiunea lor: să securizeze un pod peste fluviul Vistula.
A fost doar primul exerciţiu dintr-un ansamblu de operaţiuni menit să testeze capacitatea trupelor NATO de a apăra flancul estic în cazul unui atac. În acest complex scenariu militar sunt antrenaţi 31 de mii de soldaţi, cei mai mulţi din Polonia şi Statele Unite.
Acest format care include intervenţii pe uscat, pe mare şi în aer, a fost pus în aplicare prima dată în 2006, iar de atunci este organizat la fiecare doi ani.
Amploarea celui de acum şi apropierea geografică de Rusia a stârnit neliniştea autorităţilor de la Moscova îngrijorate că această demonstraţie de forţă îi subminează securitatea naţională.
Cooperarea statelor de pe limita estică a spaţiului NATO a fost intensificată în 2014, după ce Rusia a anexat ilegal peninsula ucraineană Crimeea. În plus, Anakonda-16 este ultimul mare test al forţelor aliate înaintea summitului de la Varşovia.
