Poliţistul Alexandru Ursu, arestat în Transnistria în 2009, a fost eliberat
Administraţia de la Tiraspol a decis, astăzi, eliberarea poliţistului Alexandru Ursu. Acesta a fost deţinut din 2009, sub acuzaţia de escrocherie. Potrivit site-ului liderului de la Tiraspol, decizia a fost aprobată ca urmare a solicitării familiei Ursu, dar şi la insistenţele reprezentantului special pentru drepturile omului.
Chişinăul confirmă informaţia şi salută decizia. "Pot să vă confirm că a fost luată decizia că poliţistul moldovean Alexandru Ursu să fie eliberat. Este o acţiune pe care o salutăm. Este un rezultat al activităţii mai multor instituţii din Republica Moldova, al partenerilor noştri internaţionali", a declarat vicepremierul pentru Reintegrare, Eugen Carpov.
Potrivit Promo-LEX, Alexandru Ursu fost reținut la 21 iulie 2009, de milițienii din Bender, fiind acuzat de escrocherie. În izolatorul de detenție preventivă din Bender a fost torturat până și-a pierdut cunoștința. Ulterior a fost forțat să-și înstrăineze apartamentul în contul reparării presupusului prejudiciu material. La 19 mai 2010, „judecătoria Bender” l-a condamnat la 15 ani privaţiune de libertate. A fost deținut într-o celulă cu reprezentanții structurilor secesioniste de la Tiraspol (milițieni, gardiști, militari).
