Reporters sans frontieres: Numărul jurnaliştilor ucişi în misiune în 2015 TRECE DE O SUTĂ
Jurnalismul rămâne o meserie periculoasă. O demonstrează raportul anual al organizaţiei Reporteri fără Frontiere. Doar în 2015, 110 jurnalişti şi-au pierdut viaţa în timpul exercitării meseriei sau din motive încă neelucidate.
Din cei 110 jurnalişti ucişi, 67 şi-au pierdut viaţa din cauza materialelor publicate ori în timp ce transmiteau în direct din zone de conflict.
Ceilalţi 43 de ziarişti au murit din cauze încă necunoscute. De asemenea, 27 de bloggeri și colaboratori media au fost uciși în acest an.
Cele mai periculoase state pentru meseria de jurnalist sunt Irakul şi Siria, urmate de Franţa, pentru prima dată menţionată în acest top, după ce, în luna ianuarie, opt jurnalişti au murit în atacul terorist care a vizat publicaţia Charlie Hebdo.
