Roger Federer ia atitudine împotriva dopingului: Probele de sânge ar trebui păstrate timp de zece ani
Tenismenul elveţian Roger Federer s-a declarat surprins de faptul că Maria Șarapova a fost depistată dopată. El a precizat că probele recoltate de la sportivi ar trebui păstrate timp de zece ani.
"Cred în continuare că probele de sânge ar trebui păstrate timp de zece ani, pentru ca sportivii şi jucătorii de tenis să ştie că pot fi pedepsiţi retroactiv. Cred foarte mult în asta", a spus Roger Federer
Federer are o locuinţă la Dubai, unde stă cam două luni pe an. El a povestit că a fost testat o dată în zece ani în Emiratele Arabe Unite.
"Stau la Dubai de zece ani şi am fost testat o dată în zece ani, nu mi se pare în regulă. Au venit pentru că erau Jocurile Asiatice. Sunt mai des testat în Elveţia, deoarece un ofiţer de control doping stă în oraşul meu", a adăugat Roger Federe.
Roger Federer este pe locul 3 în clasamentul ATP. Elveţianul participă în aceste zile la turneul ATP de la Miami, revenind astfel după accidentarea suferită la genunchi la începutul lunii trecute înaintea turneului de la Rotterdam.
Tenismanul a fost operat la menisc în țara sa și a ratat participarea la turneele din Rotterdam, Dubai şi Indian Wells.
Roger Federer are 34 de ani şi a câştigat în carieră 17 trofee de Mare Şlem, record absolut în tenisul mondial.
